Overview/Purpose:

• We are seeking a senior business analyst (BA) who is strategic and experienced who can join our team, with a focus on enhancing the client experience through digital innovation.
• This role goes beyond traditional analysis by playing a key part in shaping digital products from concept to delivery, working closely with IT and business/operations stakeholders to define and drive solutions that empower our distribution channel.
• This is a high-visiblity & high-impact position that is ideal for a business analyst who has a product ownership mindset, excels in cross-functional collaboration, and is passionate about delivering high-value digital solutions that improve operational efficiency and user satisfaction.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Be a business advocate and product leader, working closely with stakeholders to define & refine, as well as prioritize features and capabilities aligned with strategic goals.
• Own the product requirements throughout the lifecycle through initial discovery into documentation to development, testing, & rollout.
• Be a leader with the requirements gathering & elicitation process, translating complex business needs into clear, actionable user stories, use cases, process flows & acceptance · Apply expertise and critical thinking to challenge assumptions and ensure alignment with broader business & product objectives.]
• Ability to influence without authority via professional and effective communication is a must
• Proactively identify scope risks, dependencies, & potential mis-alignments where one can  work closely with Product Owner and Project Implementation Managers to escalate and mitigate as needed.
• Collaborate with highly-technical and equally talented cross-functional teams: UX, developers, QA, and business stakeholders to deliver a seamless, user-friendly/centric product experience.
•  Support and influence product backlog grooming, sprint planning, and ongoing Agile ceremonies.· Provide clarity & context for user stories during the development cycle
•  partner with QA and UAT teams to validate deliverables are being met to exceed business expectations.
• Leverage customer feedback and data insights to continuously iterate and improve product features.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in business analysis or product ownership roles, within a digital and/or software development environment.
• Strong understanding of the  product lifecycle, from discovery to post-launch iteration. 
• Proven success working in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including active participation in sprint planning, refinement, & daily stand-ups in scrum
• Strategic thinking with a product mindset and ability to see the bigger picture while managing granular details.
• Outstanding communication and customer/stakeholder engagement skills.
•  Proven ability to lead cross-functional discussions, clear up ambiguity, & drive consensus across technical and non-technical teams.
• Strong and competent ability of ownership and accountability as well as being a self-starter with a passion for solving complex problems.
• Strong background/exposure with business analysis tools and platforms (e.g., Jira, MS Office Suite).
