Senior IT Business Analyst - Core Systems - Insurance / Financial - Onsite - MA - no C2C

We are looking for a senior BA with 7+ years of progressive experience working on Core IT systems. 

Must be able to work onsite in Andover a minimum of 4 days per week.
 


Purpose/Overview:

  • Drive enterprise digital initiatives in new Digital Experience and Solutions department, delivering user focused solutions for insurance agents, policyholders, and internal business units.
  • Act as a product-focus Business Analyst, owning requirements from discovery through delivery while partnering with IT and business stakeholders to shape scalable, high value digital experiences.
  • Serve as a business advocate and product champion, partnering with stakeholders to define, prioritize, and deliver digital features aligned with enterprise strategy.
  • Own product and business requirements end to end from discovery and documentation through development, testing, and production deployment including visualization of complex business concepts.
Duties:
  • Lead requirements elicitation efforts, translating multifaceted business needs into actionable user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
  • Apply expertise to challenge assumptions and ensure solutions aligned with broader business and product objectives.
  • Identify and managed scope risks, dependencies, and delivery impacts, collaborating with Product Owners and project leaders to mitigate issues.
  • Collaborate with UX, development, QA, and business teams to deliver intuitive, seamless digital experiences for agents, policyholders, and internal users.
  • Provide continuous clarification of requirements during development, partnering with development teams to validate business outcomes.
  • Leverage user feedback and data insights to iterate on features and improve digital product performance and user satisfaction.
  • Create materials for Business Leadership presentation as well as roadshow materials to explain the purpose of initiatives and factors in product selection
Qualifications:
  • 7+ years of overall experience as a business analyst and/or product owner (preferably in the insurance and/or financial services domain) - Property and Casualty is highly desired
  • Must be technically adept with SQL 
  • Must be have a can-do / hands-on approach to the product 
  • Excellent communication, collaboration and interpersonal skills
