Staff OR Experienced Auditor
A well-established financial services client is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to support the execution of their annual audit plan with little to no travel! This role conducts financial and operational audits to evaluate internal controls, ensures regulatory compliance, and identifies opportunities for operational improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and perform financial and operational audits with minimal supervision
• Assess risks, evaluate internal controls, and execute audit testing
• Document findings and prepare clear, concise audit reports for management and the Supervisory Committee
• Communicate results, risks, and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels
• Lead audit meetings and provide guidance to team members
• Assist external auditors and support regulatory compliance efforts
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to enterprise risk management policies
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
• Public accounting experience preferred
• CPA preferred
