Senior IT Program / Project Manager - Hybrid - Boston, MA - No C2C

Overview/Purpose:

• This role of IT Project Manager is vital to the ongoing guidance, management, and delivery of projects that contribute to the overall growth of our business.
• In this role, you will bring your skill set of project management and agile execution to these initiatives.
• In this role, you will work on projects to execute a best fit methodology (agile ways of working combined with more traditional methods) while supporting the designated global strategy, best practices, and long-range goals.
• Working in cooperation with vendor(s) and various other program roles, you will manage project efforts to ensure the successful delivery of critical initiatives.

Accountabilities:
• Provide project management to projects / workstreams identified

• Scheduling and facilitating necessary meetings and related action items

• Pursuing iterative process improvements and collaborative conversations

• Working with outside vendors and internal teams to plan and manage project activities, provide governance and oversight, provide status and other inputs to Business, IT, and Leadership stakeholders

• Proactively identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues (and related mitigation plans); escalate in a clear and timely manner as appropriate

• Provide RAG state and status updates / slide decks for reviews and updates to the business / IT stakeholders

• Develop leadership updates outlining status, accomplishments, and critical next steps

Qualifications:
• B.S. with 8+ years’ experience in a relevant technical field, including 3 years’ experience as a Project Manager in IT or similar field

• Experience managing complex IT projects involving cross-functional internal development teams, third-party system integrators, and software vendors

• Experience with digital asset management (DAM) platforms or structured product data models

• Understanding of/hands-on experience with software development life cycle

• Demonstrated influence without authority, self-motivated with the ability to work independently and willing to take a hands-on approach and help the team to drive success
