Senior Internal Auditor (Hybrid, Low Travel, Public Company)

An established publicly traded company is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor. Position is hybrid with very low travel requirements and excellent benefits.

Senior Internal Auditor position duties:

• Conduct financial and operational audits
• Conducts audits of internal control over financial reporting and with regard to SOX
• Assist management with planning, scheduling, and budgeting
• Review 10Ks,10Qs, and Year End Financials
• Manage and review audits or special projects requested by management or the Audit Committee
• Review the design of controls for new systems and/or processes
• Coordinate with external auditors
• Lead and develop the internal audit team
• Risk management/risk assessments
• Reporting of audit findings

Senior Internal Auditor position qualifications:

• Accounting Degree
• CPA highly preferred
• 2+ years of public accounting audit experience AND/OR large company internal audit experience
