Objective
Data Scientist will work with business stakeholders and other data analytics professionals to collect, develop, and model data, and provide insights, intelligence and solutions that will help improve decision-making across the organization and support long-term company initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Gather, clean and prepare internal / external data
- Perform and explor data analysis to deliver business insight
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to understand the needs and desired outcomes, as well as gather, triage and document requirements
- Build predictive and ML models to generate actionable insights and improve business decision making
- Monitor performance of existing models and/or update and enhance models
- Measure the impact of the deployment of models and discuss findings to stakeholders/SME's
- Produce business reports and data visualization reports
- evaluate and Identify opportunities to improve data quality
- Provide data expertise to high-level business community to enhance data-driven decision making culture
- Identify new opportunities to push business outcomes through data analytics solutions
- Research innovative and emerging data and analytics technologies
- Adhere to the development, testing, documentation best practices to ensure compliance with regulations and internal Artficial intelligence and Data Governance standards.
Required Skills::
- Educational background in data science, business / data analytics, mathematics, statistics, computer science or similar
- 2-4 years of experience building and maintaining predictive models, including Machine learning models
- Experience with supervised learning techniques including regression and classification
- Excellent SQL Skills
- Excellent Python and/or R skills for command
- Strong excel skills including pivot tables, lookups and data analysis
- Expeirence performing exploratory analysis even with ambiguous or incomplete requirements
- Curiosity and passion in seeking creative solutions to business problems
- Strong communication, interpersonal and collaboration skills are must
Desired skills:
- Agile experience
- BI experience with PowerBI, Tableau or Qlik
- Experience with neural networks, deep learning and NLP
- Experience with unsupervised learning tech
- Experience leveraging MLOps for model development, retraining and operationalization
- Experience analyzing / modeling unstructured data
