Construction Project Manager
Location: Charlotte, NC | Full-Time | Competitive Pay + Benefits
Must have direct Construction Project Management experience this is a requirement, not a preference
We’re seeking a hands-on leader with proven experience managing complex construction projects from pre-construction through final walkthrough.This role is not for general project managers — construction field expertise is essential. You’ll be responsible for driving schedules, budgets, teams, and client satisfaction on every job site you touch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and on budget
- Supervise and support field and office staff including APMs, Superintendents, Foremen, and Installers
- Coordinate with subcontractors, clients, engineers, and architects to keep projects aligned
- Develop and maintain detailed construction schedules and cost controls
- Perform regular job site visits to monitor safety, quality, and progress
- Manage documentation, RFIs, change orders, and invoicing via BuilderTrend
- Lead daily project updates and ensure accurate reporting across teams
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of Project Management experience in the construction industry
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Demonstrated success managing ground-up or large-scale renovation projects
- Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and jobsite operations
- Proficiency with BuilderTrend, Microsoft Teams, and other project management tools
- Ability to interpret architectural and engineering plans, manage budgets, and negotiate contracts
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and willingness to travel locally to job sites
