The Payroll & Compensation Administrator handles payroll processing, benefits administration, and compensation-related tasks. This role supports daily benefits operations, such as health, dental, disability insurance, 401(k), and other employee programs. Additionally, the role assists HR leadership with compensation reviews, contracts, and negotiations, maintaining professionalism and upholding company values.

OVERVIEW:
The Payroll & Compensation Administrator handles payroll processing, benefits administration, and compensation-related tasks. This role supports daily benefits operations, such as health, dental, disability insurance, 401(k), and other employee programs. Additionally, the role assists HR leadership with compensation reviews, contracts, and negotiations, maintaining professionalism and upholding company values.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process bi-weekly payroll via a third-party system.
- Track overtime, ensuring compliance with federal and state laws.
- Process pay increases, bonuses, and retroactive payments.
- Reconcile payroll deductions and update the general ledger.
- Manage 401(k) contributions and ensure compliance with audits.
- Collaborate with brokers and vendors to optimize benefits plans.
- Assist with plan renewals and billing processes.
- Oversee employee enrollment, terminations, COBRA, claims, and compliance testing.
- Maintain accurate benefits records and ensure timely payments.
- Investigate and resolve benefits-related issues.
- Conduct compensation analysis and manage employee allowance programs.
- Support employment contracts and global assignments.
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries.
- Assist in onboarding processes.
- Lead payroll projects, such as implementing new time clock systems.
- Collaborate with other teams for best practices.
