Business & Commercial Litigation Attorney (Remote / Hybrid - Dallas, TX)
Hiring: Associates, Senior Counsel/Of Counsel & Partners
Location: Dallas, Texas (Remote or Hybrid flexibility available, with occasional in-office or court appearances as needed)
Compensation: $100,000 - $275,000+ base salary + bonus
Annual Hours Expectation: 1,900

About the Role: Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 100 defense firm, is seeking Business & Commercial Litigation Attorneys to join its Dallas team. The firm represents businesses ranging from small and mid-sized companies to major national and international corporations in sophisticated commercial disputes.
This opportunity is open to experienced litigators at the Associate, Senior Counsel/Of Counsel, and Partner levels and offers remote flexibility for attorneys who can travel to Dallas or elsewhere in Texas as needed.

The firm represents businesses ranging from small and mid-sized companies to major national and international corporations in sophisticated commercial disputes.
This opportunity is open to experienced litigators at the Associate, Senior Counsel/Of Counsel, and Partner levels and offers remote flexibility for attorneys who can travel to Dallas or elsewhere in Texas as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle business and commercial litigation matters in Texas state and federal courts
- Represent businesses in contract disputes, business torts, and other complex commercial matters
- Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, and other substantive briefs
- Manage written discovery and complex document production
- Take and defend depositions
- Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and settlement negotiations
- Develop litigation strategy and work directly with clients
- Prepare matters for trial and participate in trials as appropriate
- Collaborate with attorneys across the firm's national platform on complex and multijurisdictional matters
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Active Texas Bar license in good standing
- 3+ years of litigation experience preferred
- Experience handling business or commercial litigation matters
- Strong legal writing, analytical, and research skills
- Hands-on experience with discovery and motion practice
- Deposition and/or courtroom experience strongly preferred
- Ability to manage matters independently while collaborating with a broader litigation team
- Portable business is welcomed for Partner candidates but is not required for Associate or Counsel-level candidates
