Responsibilities
- Manage projects of varying complexity using company standards, methodologies, and best practices.
- Operate with a high degree of autonomy, independently driving project execution, resolving obstacles, and managing day-to-day decisions with minimal oversight.
- Lead all phases of the project lifecycle, including planning, requirements gathering, execution, testing, implementation, stabilization, and post-production support.
- Manage projects across global regions, time zones, cultures, and languages while ensuring alignment, communication, and accountability among distributed teams.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, project sponsors, SMEs, technical teams, and vendors to define objectives, manage expectations, and deliver successful outcomes.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, and resource requirements.
- Actively manage project scope, risks, issues, assumptions, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle.
- Anticipate project risks, dependencies, and resource constraints, proactively developing mitigation plans and driving resolution.
- Establish project governance, facilitate meetings, and provide regular status reporting to stakeholders and IT leadership.
- Coordinate implementation activities, go-live planning, and post-implementation stabilization to ensure successful project delivery.
- Manage and track implementation and post-production issues to ensure a smooth transition to steady-state operations.
- Utilize project management tools including Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of IT project management experience, including at least 3 years leading infrastructure-focused projects such as network implementations, integrations, migrations, or transformation initiatives.
- Proven track record delivering complex technology and infrastructure projects, including network deployments, network transformations, cloud initiatives, data center migrations, security implementations, enterprise tooling, and systems integrations.
- Demonstrated experience managing global projects involving geographically distributed teams, multiple time zones, and cross-cultural stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to successfully lead initiatives across multiple regions while balancing competing priorities, cultural differences, regional business practices, local regulations, and varying levels of organizational maturity.
- Demonstrated ability to independently lead complex projects from initiation through delivery with minimal supervision.
- Self-starter with strong organizational, critical thinking, and decision-making skills; capable of managing multiple priorities and driving results in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent written, verbal, presentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive results without direct authority.
- Experience managing vendors, consulting partners, and cross-functional technical teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred but not required.
