Senior Project Manager - ERP data migration - Hybrid - Boston - no C2C

Seeking a senior IT Project mgr to work at a Global organization handling IT ERP-related projects - Global experience is a must! 

The key is we need an experienced PM to drive the data migration track across both Global ERP programs. 


Hybrid work model - 3days onsite in Boston / 2 WFH)
Some occasional travel abroad (Monthly or bi-monthly max)

Purpose/Overview:
In this role of Project Manager is vital to the ongoing guidance, management, and delivery of  ERP re-platform related projects as contributing to the overall growth of our business.

In this role, you will bring your skill set of project management and agile execution to the data migration workstream within the broader global ERP re-platforms.

You will leverage advanced project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and technical expertise to develop, plan, and execute initiatives aligned with global strategy, best practices, and long-range goals.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including business SMEs, engineering, and external vendors—to ensure robust, scalable, and secure solutions. 

Responsibilities:

1. Provide project management to projects / workstreams identified 
2. Demonstrated influence without authority, self-motivation with the ability to work independently and willing to take a hands-on approach and help the team to drive success  
3. Understanding of/hands-on experience with software development life cycle  SDLC
4. Experience with Data migration initiatives - preferably with a background with MS D365 Finance & Operations would be a major plus 
5. Experience with complex data migration projects is a plus 
6. Understanding of software architecture, data migration, API integration, and security protocols is a plus 
7. Proficiency in project management and collaboration tools (Jira, MS Azure DevOps Smartsheet, MS Project) 

Qualifications:

• 7+ years’ experience in the IT field - with a focus on Project management in a large enterprise-wide global environment
• Develop leadership updates outlining status, accomplishments, and critical next steps 
• Provide RAG state and status updates & slide decks for reviews and updates to the business / IT stakeholders  
• Proactively identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and issues (and related mitigation plans); escalate in a clear and timely manner as appropriate  
• Working with outside vendors (if applicable) and internal teams to plan and manage the project activities, provide governance and oversight, provide status and other inputs to Business, IT, and Leadership stakeholders  
• Pursuing iterative process improvements and collaborative conversations  
• Scheduling and facilitating necessary meetings and related action items  
• Coordinate technical activities across internal teams and third-party vendors, ensuring seamless integration and delivery 
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including resource allocation, sprint planning, and milestone tracking using tools such as Jira, MS Azure DevOps 
• Define project scope and technical requirements, in partnership with engineering and program teams
