Title: Senior Civil Engineer (PE)
Position Type: Direct, Full-Time
Salary: up to $150K, depending on level of experience

Description:
Our client is seeking to hire a full-time Senior Civil Engineer (PE) possessing an understanding of the technical aspects of private and public civil engineering projects including conceptual site layout, grading, stormwater management, and utility design. In addition, the candidate shall possess a general understanding of municipal zoning, land use ordinances and applicable environmental regulations affecting design and permitting, standards of care for constructability of designs, and value engineering. The selected candidate shall possess the ability to take on new roles and responsibilities and to grow into a potential leadership position within the division.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Review of reports and plans prepared within the office
- Preparation of design drawings, from concept through construction
- Complete understanding of the design of stormwater management and stormwater conveyance systems; ability to use and teach stormwater modelling design software
- Preparation of technical reports including drainage, sanitary sewer, and site investigation reports
- Project coordination and preparation of written correspondence to agencies, client, attorney, contractor, etc.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree; Master’s Degree is a plus
- 10 – 15 years of progressive professional experience in civil engineering
- Track record of client contact and coordination with applicable market sectors
- Supervisory and/or technical training experience is a must
- Current registration as Professional Engineer (PE) required
- Ability to obtain additional registration as requested
- Ability to review/revise, sign/seal construction design plans
- Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and Microsoft Project
- Proficient in Autodesk AutoCAD/Civil 3D, AutoTurn, and stormwater modeling software
- Proficient in Salesforce a plus
- Proficient in billing and job financials
