A well-established Richmond-based company is seeking a Senior Accountant. The organization operates across multiple industries and is looking for an energetic professional to grow with the team. Senior Accountant Responsibilities
• Manage daily accounting, including general ledger, journal entries, and reconciliations
• Handle monthly close and prepare financial reports
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Oversee accounts payable, vendor management, and cash flow
• Assist with payroll processing and related compliance
• Maintain organized records and support administrative needs
• Help resolve financial or banking issues as they arise
• Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors
Senior Accountant Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 3+ years of relevant experience
• Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks)
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
