Property Manager – Commercial Real Estate (Albany, NY)

Location: Albany, NY

Compensation: Highly Competitive Pay + Annual Bonus + Premium Benefits

The Opportunity: Take Ownership of a Prime Asset

Seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of commercial real estate properties in the Albany, NY region. This role manages daily operations, tenant relations, maintenance, budgeting, and vendor oversight for a growing commercial real estate organization. Ideal for candidates with 5+ years of commercial property management experience and strong leadership skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for tenants and oversee day-to-day building operations.
  • Conduct regular property inspections; recommend and coordinate maintenance, repairs, and capital improvements.
  • Manage vendor relationships, including selection, contracting, and performance oversight.
  • Handle routine property accounting: AP processing, AR reporting, forecasting, and review of annual expense reconciliations.
  • Support tenant onboarding and coordinate tenant-related activities.
  • Work with maintenance staff and vendors to ensure timely completion of work orders.
  • Provide efficient, timely, reliable, and courteous service to tenants while working independently.
  • Participate in leasing discussions and offer operational recommendations.
  • Solicit bids for tenant and capital improvement projects; monitor construction progress and attend project meetings.

Qualifications You'll Bring
  • 5+ years of onsite property management experience, preferably in commercial real estate.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical abilities.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree required; CPM or RPA designation a plus.
  • Experience managing a staff preferred.
