The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity to join an emerging investment firm in Newton, MA as the Executive Assistant to the Founder & CEO. This is a high-impact role for an experienced Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and enjoys being a true right hand and trusted partner to a senior executive.
The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives, exceptional judgment, strong business acumen, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. This is much more than a traditional EA role—you will work closely with the Founder & CEO across both business and personal priorities and play an important role in helping him operate efficiently and effectively.

The ideal candidate will bring 10+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives, exceptional judgment, strong business acumen, and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. This is much more than a traditional EA role—you will work closely with the Founder & CEO across both business and personal priorities and play an important role in helping him operate efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted right hand and strategic partner to the Founder & CEO, managing priorities, information flow, and day-to-day execution
- Own a complex and constantly evolving calendar, proactively managing competing priorities and protecting the CEO’s time
- Prepare the CEO for meetings by gathering materials, coordinating agendas, and ensuring he has the information needed to make decisions
- Manage internal and external relationships with a high degree of professionalism and discretion
- Coordinate meetings with investors, clients, business partners, and other key stakeholders
- Arrange complex domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and last-minute changes
- Draft, proofread, and prepare correspondence, presentations, meeting materials, and other documents
- Track follow-ups and action items, ensuring important commitments don't fall through the cracks
- Help drive special projects and initiatives on behalf of the CEO and firm
- Anticipate needs, identify potential issues, and independently solve problems before they reach the CEO
- Handle highly confidential and sensitive business and personal information with absolute discretion
- Partner with other members of the team to ensure the CEO's priorities are executed seamlessly
- Serve as a key point of contact and ambassador for the Founder & CEO
- 10+ years of experience supporting C-level executives, preferably a Founder, CEO, Managing Partner, or other senior executive
- Experience within investment management, private equity, venture capital, financial services, or another sophisticated professional services environment strongly preferred
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment
- Highly proactive with excellent instincts and the ability to anticipate what a CEO will need next
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Polished, professional, and comfortable interacting with high-level internal and external stakeholders
- Demonstrated ability to operate with discretion, maturity, and sound judgment
- Resourceful problem-solver who takes ownership and follows through
- Strong attention to detail without losing sight of the bigger picture
- Comfortable working in an entrepreneurial environment where priorities can shift quickly
- A genuine team player with a “no task is too small” attitude
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- $100,000–$125,000 base salary + Bonus + Profit Sharing
