Compensation: $190,000 – $275,000+ base salary + bonus
Annual Hours Expectation: 1,900

About the Opportunity:

Our client, a nationally recognized Am Law 100 firm, is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its growing Nevada practice at the Senior Counsel or Partner level.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established litigator who wants the resources, clients, and stability of a national platform without being required to bring a portable book of business.

The firm handles a broad range of sophisticated civil litigation matters and is particularly interested in attorneys with insurance defense experience, although experienced Nevada litigators from other civil litigation backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Develop case strategy and advise clients regarding litigation risk
• Draft and argue substantive and dispositive motions
• Take and defend depositions
• Handle written discovery, mediations, settlement negotiations, and court appearances
• Prepare matters for trial and participate in trials as appropriate
• Work directly with clients while collaborating with attorneys across a national platform

What They’re Looking For:

• Active Nevada Bar admission required
• Significant civil litigation experience
• Insurance defense experience preferred, but not required
• Strong experience with motion practice, depositions, mediations, and court appearances
• Excellent legal writing and oral advocacy skills
• Ability to independently manage litigation matters
• Trial experience preferred, but not required
• No portable book of business required
