Location: Boston, MA (Financial District)

Position Summary:
In this role, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively manage multiple priorities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional judgment and possess strong communication, organizational, and financial skills. Discretion and diplomacy regarding sensitive information will be paramount.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
  • Review and analyze consolidated financial statements, general ledgers, and balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist in cash flow budgeting, forecasting, and daily monitoring of management entities
  • Assist with annual vendor 1099 and local/state tax filings
  • Oversee Payroll Manager for domestic and international employees, ensuring accuracy in monthly/quarterly filings and benefits
  • Collaborate closely with the corporate accounting team to ensure timely payments of invoices and address budget-related inquiries
  • Maintain tax records for management company investments, including budgeting cash flow and funding capital calls/distributions
  • Mentor team members to enhance their professional growth
  • Engage in additional ad hoc projects as necessary
  • Oversee annual audits and tax return preparation
  • Manage tax and accrual records for management entities

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
  • 6-10 years of relevant experience in corporate accounting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and strong analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively engage with colleagues at all levels
  • Self-motivated with high attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated professionalism and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience with a major ERP system is desired
