Unlawful Detainer Litigation Attorney (California – Remote/Hybrid Options)
Hiring: Associates, Of Counsel, and Partners
Location: California – Remote work available or hybrid in select offices
Compensation: $130,000 – $275,000 base salary + bonus
Annual Hours Expectation: 1,900

About the Role
We are seeking attorneys with experience in unlawful detainer and habitability matters to join a high-performing litigation team representing clients across California. Attorneys will work under the guidance of an experienced trial lawyer handling complex, high-stakes litigation, while managing their own caseload and developing practical legal strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle unlawful detainer matters and related civil litigation from intake through resolution.
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and settlement agreements.
- Take and defend depositions and participate in mediations and hearings.
- Provide strategic guidance to clients regarding risk and litigation exposure.
- Conduct thorough legal research and prepare high-quality written analyses.
- Collaborate effectively with colleagues while independently managing multiple matters.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor from an accredited law school.
- Licensed and admitted to practice in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience specializing in unlawful detainer or habitability litigation.
- Strong academic background with proven skills in legal research, writing, and advocacy.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and persuasive speaking skills.
