Senior Staff Accountant

Senior Accountant up to $95k; Work from Home 2 days! Mundelein
 

Our client, a PE-backed  industry-leading distributor, is seeking a Senior Accountant.  This role, reporting to the accounting manager, is newly created role due to growth.

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Performs general cost accounting and other related duties in the accounting department
• Prepares monthly dashboard reports 
• Performs month end close duties, including journal entries and account reconciliations
• Reconciles bank accounts monthly
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• Files required tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies
