Power Supply Product Development Engineer   -  Full life cycle (concept to EOL) design, and development of  the next generation of  High Performance RF Generators and Matches used in Semiconductor and Medical Device industries.
If you have a  demonstrated track record of a designing and bringing power products to market combined with  unique skills in leadership, analysis, critical thinking, problem solving and risk management, you could be an excellent match for this role located in the Greater Boston area.  

Our Client may consider candidates with strong Product Development in other types of Power Supplies who have a strong background in product development in the semiconductor industry. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and debug high frequency, high efficiency power amplifiers, preferably in the 400kHz to 60MHz frequency range and power levels from 100W to 10KW.Provide clear data driven proposals and results to the management team and customers.

  • Help develop and maintain project plans for product development, release, transfer, and ramp in factories, both    domestic and overseas.
  •  
  • Manage, direct and coach a team of development engineers.
Qualifications
  • BSEE degree required, MSEE preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in an engineering design
  • Demonstrated ability of successfully designing, developing, and bringing power conversion products to market
  • Experience with matching and combining high frequency, high power assemblies and loads
  • Knowledge of RF/ Analog / Digital control modelling and simulation
  • Experience with Altium circuit design and layout, MATLAB, AWR simulation and SolidWorks tools
  • Experience in 100kHz to 60MHz RF System Design
  • 100W to 10kW High Power Design desired
  • Thorough understanding of thermal management
  • Knowledgeable in risk assessment and mitigation methods
  • Team leader, able to motivate and focus the local team as well as world-wide workforce
  • Proven experience with full-lifecycle product development, from concept to EOL
  • Driven to achieve goals and meet timelines
  • Superior analytical and creative problem-solving skills
  • Strong sense of accountability and integrity with exceptional written, verbal, and organizational skills; ability to clearly and concisely communicate and present information
