Position: Radiologic Technologist

- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Two immediate openings, with a potential third position available
- Compensation Range: $34.00 - $39.41 per hour (based on level of experience). Will consider going above budget for exceptional candidates at a senior level.

- Location: Onsite in Reno, NV.
Annual Benefits:

Primary Responsibilities:
- Operate radiologic equipment, including C-arm and fluoroscopy, to obtain images as directed by healthcare providers.
- Adjust settings such as voltage, exposure time, and distance to ensure optimal image quality.
- Screen patients for radiologic safety, explain the procedure, and address any questions or concerns.
- Position patients correctly using immobilization and protective gear, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
- Review images for accuracy and quality before submission to medical staff.
- Record imaging procedures and related charges in patients' electronic health records and PACS.
- Adhere to ARRT quality control measures.
- Follow quality assurance protocols to ensure accurate positioning, proper use of markers, and correct demographics before releasing images.
- Ensure daily preparation of the radiology area, including cleaning and restocking of equipment.
- Supervise daily workflow and assign tasks to aides and support staff.
- Certification/Education:
- ARRT certification (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists)
- Active Nevada state license as a Radiologic Technologist
- Knowledge of:
- Radiologic safety protocols and procedures
- HIPAA and OSHA compliance standards
- Experience in:
- Working with medical software systems
- Effective communication with patients and healthcare staff
- At least one year of experience in radiology
- Familiarity with radiology-specific software
