Our client, a small outpatient clinic for adolescents is seeking a Primary Therapist to join their team. This role will involve treating mental health with some substance use (about 80/20). Modalities included are CBT, DBT, somatic therapies and Art Therapy. The office is dog friendly and one of the therapists took over a room for the art therapy session. This role is perfect for a clinician with at least a year of experience looking for a smaller organization where they have a smaller case load with less red tape! License preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain an active caseload and provide individual, family, and group therapy as appropriate within credentialed expertise.
- Facilitate therapy groups tailored to client needs.
- Conduct psychosocial evaluations and create individualized treatment plans.
- Develop, implement, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to support client progress.
- Participate in professional development, training, and supervision meetings.
- Maintain client records in compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Uphold ethical and professional standards regarding confidentiality and client care.
- Stay current with best practices through continuing education and training.
- Step in to conduct client sessions when other therapists are unavailable.
- Follow organizational policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Master’s degree in a related field (MSW, Mental Health Counseling).
- LMHS, LCSW or LICSW preferred.
- Specific training in child and adolescent development, including coursework.
- Strong understanding of mental health and substance use disorder treatment principles.
- Ability to manage workload effectively and work independently.
- Proficiency with computer systems and electronic medical records (EMR).
- Effective communication skills for engaging with clients, colleagues, and leadership.
- Knowledge of confidentiality laws (HIPAA) and a commitment to client rights.
- Demonstrated ability to treat all clients with respect and professionalism.
