Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico (Hybrid / Onsite Preferred; Remote Considered)
Compensation: $175,000-$275,000+ base salary + bonus
Hours: 1,900 annually

About the Role:

Our client, a nationally recognized law firm, is seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join its Albuquerque office at the Of Counsel or Partner level. The firm is targeting attorneys with 7+ years of litigation experience and is particularly interested in candidates with strong general civil litigation backgrounds.

The position offers the opportunity to handle a diverse litigation caseload within a large, established national platform. Hybrid or onsite work in Albuquerque is preferred, although fully remote arrangements may be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Manage civil litigation matters from inception through resolution
• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery
• Take and defend depositions and prepare witnesses
• Develop case strategy and advise clients
• Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation
• Collaborate with attorneys across a national platform

Qualifications:

• Active New Mexico Bar membership required
• 7+ years of civil litigation experience required
• Experience in general civil litigation, employment, construction, personal injury defense, insurance defense, or related litigation
• Strong writing, research, advocacy, and case-management skills
• Ability to independently manage matters and work collaboratively
• Trial experience helpful but not required
• Portable book of business is welcomed but not required
