Are you a detail oriented,  tech savvy Inventory Control Manager?  My Client is looking to hire an experienced Inventory Control Manager to physically manage inventory for trade shows, customer demonstrations and other industry events.  You will be responsible to  enter the applicable inventory in the database, and maintain situational awareness of inventory whereabouts, both incoming and outgoing.
The ideal candidate will have a strong Warehouse / Inventory Management background, be organized and detail oriented,  . Must have an Inventory Control mindset based on previous inventory roles and be responsible for the day-to-day administration of business activities for the  organization with timely and accurate  operations analysis.

This position is an onsite role in Woburn, MA. Local candidates only/no sponsorship available.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
· Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of  inventory
· Conduct cycle counts regularly and reconcile discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy
· Monitor and analyze inventory levels, sales trends, and demand forecasts to ensure stock is adequate
· Collaborate with Operations, Manufacturing , Supply Chain and Sales & Marketing to optimize inventory levels and monitor and control inventory to minimize obsolescence and excess inventory counts
· Monitor and analyze cost, asset utilization, and performance to identify opportunities for improvement
· Prioritize opportunities according to effort, feasibility, impact, and customer-readiness factors
· Document all transactions and movements for tracking purposes
· Recommend and implement inventory management processes to improve accuracy and efficiency
· Analyze inventory data and generate reports for management
· Make appropriate system adjustments in the ERP including sales orders, transfers, and inventory adjustments
· Meet established performance requirements for timely response to inquiries regarding the status of orders, product availability, and delivery and tracking information
· Ensure GPS tracking is assigned to each asset and setup GPS in portal accordingly
· Understand data structure of current CRM and other available data sources to manage, coordinate and provide  inventory to demonstration, tradeshow, and customer sales
· Process RMA transactions and responsible for shipping and receiving of demo goods
· Label material according to internal procedures
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
· BA/BS degree in a related field preferred but not required
· 5+ years experience working in warehouse operations with extensive knowledge of warehouse safety and inventory management in a fast-paced environment.
· Strong discipline required; Military and Veterans strongly encouraged to apply.
· Familiarity of CRM best practice and Prospect Management System operations
· Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and work effectively in a demanding, fast paced environment
· Must be able to assemble facts from various areas, analyze data, and provide informed recommendations to management
COMPUTER & ANALYTIC SKILLS
· Must be able demonstrate proficiency with MS Office package, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; as well as Outlook, Internet Explorer, and Google Chrome
· Exceptional written and oral communication skills
