Inventory Specialist
Location: SW Portland
Salary: $50,000+ DOE

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Inventory Specialist to support a fast-paced, food and supplement manufacturing environment. This role is critical to maintaining accurate inventory across raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods while supporting operational efficiency, compliance, and audit readiness.
Key Responsibilities

Manage receiving, tracking, and reconciliation of inventory across multiple systems

Release and scrap raw materials and components as needed

Kit, assign lots, assemble, and release production runs

Maintain accurate finished goods inventory across ERP, e-commerce platforms, and accounting systems

Create and manage items, BOMs, and manufacturing orders
-
Perform cycle counts and inventory adjustments
-
Run inventory and supply chain reports; analyze data using Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)

Receive and process purchase orders for raw materials and components
-
Collaborate cross-functionally with minimal supervision and report inventory metrics to leadership

Qualifications
-
Minimum 3 years of experience in inventory control or a similar role

Experience working in manufacturing, food, pharma, or similar environments preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Proven data analysis and reporting capabilities

Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
