A 25 bed rural acute care hospital in Mississippi is seeking an experienced Interim Director or Manager to lead its Emergency Department during a period of transition. This role is expected to last up to one year or more as the hospital prepares for and implements a full EMR conversion.

- Level IV Trauma Center
- The department includes:
- fast track beds
- 15 ED beds
- 25 FTEs
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department
- Staff scheduling and team leadership
- Update and revise policies and procedures
- Drive improvements in patient flow and ED throughput
- Conduct workflow analysis and recommend process improvements
- Foster collaboration between medical and nursing staff
Ideal Candidate:
- Previous leadership experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Strong operational and communication skills
- Experience with EMR transitions a plus (especially Cerner)
