SQL Integrations Developer

Company:  Our client is a domestic and international logistics firm located in Richmond, VA.
Job Status:  full-time employee
Work Arrangements:  If located in Richmond VA, employees are in the office three days per week of their choosing.  If outside of Richmond, remote work is a possibility for the right candidate.
Level/Salary:  We're looking for someone with 1 to 3 years of SQL and ETL experience.  Salary is dependent upon experience, somewhere between $85K - $100K

Responsibilities:
As an Integration Engineer I, you will assist in designing, implementing, and supporting data integration workflows, focusing on EDI and ETL processes. This entry-level role provides opportunities for learning and contributing to the integration of business systems.
 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in setting up and maintaining EDI integrations with trading partners.
• Develop and support SQL-based data integration workflows.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data across various systems.
• Setup and support SFTP and AS2 connections.
• Develop and maintain integration packages in GoAnywhere MFT.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and assist in resolving data discrepancies.
• Create and maintain documentation for integration processes and workflows.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to meet integration requirements.
• Participate in an afterhours on call support rotation.
• Support and promote company core values.
• Comply with Company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
• Regular attendance is required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

 
Qualifications:
SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent field or 1-2 years of experience in data integration or related fields.
• Familiarity with SQL and relational database concepts.
• Basic understanding of EDI standards and ETL processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Eagerness to learn new tools and technologies in the data integration space.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States.
