Head of Delivery, Americas | Payments & Fintech | Dallas, TX (Hybrid/Remote)

Overview:
Seeking a senior delivery leader to oversee onboarding, end-to-end implementation, and post-go-live success of enterprise merchants on a global payment orchestration platform. This role leads the Americas Delivery organization—Program/Project Managers and Implementation Engineers—and partners cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Sales to ensure efficient customer onboarding, high-impact delivery, and operational excellence. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership in payments, fintech, and/or travel/hospitality technology, with the ability to translate strategy into execution while maintaining “white-glove” enterprise service levels.


Key Focus Areas

  • Own and scale the delivery portfolio of enterprise integrations and implementations across North and South America

  • Lead and mentor a multi-disciplinary delivery team (PMO, program/project managers, implementation engineers)

  • Standardize methodologies, playbooks, stage-gate processes, and delivery governance frameworks

  • Serve as the executive face of delivery for customer steering committees, QBRs, and escalations

  • Partner with Sales, Product, and Engineering to align customer requirements, SoWs, and delivery roadmaps

  • Drive measurable improvements in time-to-live (TTL), first-transaction success, utilization, and customer satisfaction

  • Ensure compliance with PCI DSS, SOC 2, CCPA/GDPR, NACHA, and card-brand rules

  • Support pre-sales, RFPs, and enterprise solutioning for new clients (airlines, hospitality, travel tech)


Experience & Skills Required

  • 10+ years total experience, including 5+ years leading delivery or professional services teams

  • 5+ years in payments/fintech, ideally within a payment orchestration platform, PSP/gateway, acquirer, or adjacent provider

  • Background in airline or hospitality delivery preferred (PSS/NDC, PMS/POS, ancillaries, vouchers, etc.)

  • Deep domain knowledge in:

  • Card networks / acquirer ecosystems (Visa, MC, Amex, Discover)

  • Alternative payments: ACH, RTP/FedNow, wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay), PayPal, BNPL

  • 3DS 2.x, tokenization, cascading/routing, fraud/risk tools, reconciliation & settlement

  • Proven record managing complex, multi-workstream global implementations and migrations

  • Strong leadership and coaching skills; experience building high-performance PMOs

  • Executive presence — comfortable engaging C-suite stakeholders and resolving escalations

  • Technical fluency with REST APIs, webhooks, eventing, and GCP/cloud environments

  • Expert in Agile/iterative delivery, risk management, and tools like Jira, Confluence, Asana

  • Familiarity with PCI/SOC 2; PMP/CSM certifications preferred

    • NPS/CSAT and executive sponsor satisfaction

    • Delivery utilization, margin, and forecast accuracy

    • Quality KPIs: requirements accuracy, delivery speed, and overall customer experience


    Location & Travel

    • Dallas, TX (Hybrid/Mostly Remote)

    • Travel 10–25% for customer sessions, partner meetings, and team offsites
