Our client is seeking a results-driven Sales Director to lead their sales strategy and execution across both B2C and B2B channels. This role will manage a high-performing team of Business Development Managers (BDMs) and their assistants (BDMAs), while driving growth, fostering strategic partnerships, and ensuring sales targets are met. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership capabilities, exceptional sales expertise, and a passion for cultivating client relationships and team success.
This remote position is open to candidates ONLY residing in California, Nevada, New Jersey, or Florida. The Sales Director will report to the Chief Operating Officer and collaborate closely with leadership to achieve revenue and market expansion goals.
Key Responsibilities:

Compensation Model:
Year One (2025)
- Base Salary: $150,000.00 - 170,000.00
- Target Commission (50% of OTE): $170,000
- Total On-Target Earnings (OTE): $340,000 ($150,000.00 base salary would have a $300,000.00 OTE)
- Guaranteed Commissions:
- Guaranteed commissions will be provided if overall performance is deemed satisfactory, even without formal quotas.
- Example: If $170,000 commission is fully guaranteed, total Year One earnings would equal $340,000, assuming acceptable performance.

Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop, implement, and refine comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships to accelerate growth.
- Create a clear vision and direction for the sales team, aligning efforts with organizational goals.
- Team Management:
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of BDMs and BDMAs across four territories.
- Current team consists of 4 BDMs + 5 BDM Assistants divided in 4 territories (northwest, northeast, southwest, southeast of US).
- Provide training and performance evaluations to ensure team success.
- Sales Planning & Oversight:
- Set quotas and develop sales plans based on market trends and business objectives.
- Monitor sales metrics, track performance, and adjust strategies to meet targets.
- Market Development:
- Drive growth in both B2C and B2B segments, targeting individual investors, financial advisors, wealth management firms, investment sponsors, and precious metals dealers.
- Conduct market analyses to identify opportunities and adapt strategies accordingly.
- Client Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with key clients, negotiate deals, and address any client concerns.
- Gather and incorporate customer feedback to enhance the sales process.
- Collaboration & Reporting:
- Collaborate with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align efforts.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, forecasts, and strategy effectiveness.
- Process Optimization:
- Continuously evaluate and improve sales tools and processes to maximize efficiency.
- Travel Requirements:
- Travel up to 20% domestically for client meetings, conferences, and team engagements. Proximity to a major airport is essential for efficient travel.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, including 3+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of creating and executing successful sales strategies in competitive markets.
- Experience in regulated industries such as financial services (preferred).
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build lasting client relationships.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and sales analytics tools; Salesforce experience is a plus.
- Exceptional negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to motivate and manage diverse teams, fostering a positive and goal-oriented work environment.
- Financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasting, and analyzing sales data.
