ERP Process and Systems Analyst
Work Location:  Richmond, VA
Schedule:  3 days on-site, 2 days remote 
Type:  Direct hire, full-time
Salary:  $80K
Summary

The ERP Process and Systems Analyst reports directly to the Manager of Enterprise Business Systems and is responsible for investigating, troubleshooting, gathering information, communicating, training, and resolving enterprise business system-related inquiries. This role ensures alignment with the expectations set forth by the Business Systems Ecosystem.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully, an individual must satisfactorily perform each essential duty.
  • Gather and compile data from various operating system sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Conduct research to support projects and identify resolutions to business problems.
  • Collaborate with business end users, analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
  • Perform data cleansing and transformation as needed.
  • Prepare clear, concise reports and presentations for leadership.
  • Collect requirements, perform gap analysis, and evaluate against business needs.
  • Create test plans, test cases, and scripts to ensure quality of IT solutions.
  • Conduct user acceptance testing and implement solutions in production environments.
  • Maintain business requirements documents and functional design specifications.
  • Develop detailed system design documents, including data models, process flows, and wireframes.
  • Work closely with IT development teams to ensure timely, budget-compliant delivery of solutions.
  • Analyze existing business processes to identify improvements and automation opportunities.
  • Conduct new hire training and support new feature releases for end users.
  • Drive continuous process improvement and streamline Business Central processes.
  • Support and promote company core values.
  • Ensure compliance with C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools (Power BI, Excel, Tableau).
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages (SQL, Python).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint).
  • Expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Business Central ERP.
  • Familiarity with general accounting principles and technical finance language.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Effective organizational and prioritization skills for managing multiple projects.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to interpret business documents, technical specifications, and process documentation.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States (sponsorship for employment authorization is not available).
  • Successful completion of drug screening and background check required.

Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Business Administration required.
  • Experience in Freight Forwarding or Transportation industry preferred.
  • SQL certification preferred (or equivalent experience).
