Electrical Engineer – RF Product Development
Greater Boston

Our Client is seeking a career focused electrical engineer to design and bring high power RF products to market. The ideal candidate will be looking to build a career within a company that provides career advancement opportunities locally as well as in other business units.
For this position, the ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of power supply design preferably in the frequency range of 400kHz to 100MHz, with power ranges from 600W to 10KW.
The candidate will have 5+ years of experience in a design and development role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Design and troubleshoot electronics (High Power & RF)
- Design or modify building blocks (Power Supplies, RF Circuits)
- Assist manufacturing with production and test issues as required
- Implement product and process engineering changes as required thru the ECO/ECR process and maintain documentation (test/assembly procedures, BOMs, etc.)
- Help develop and maintain project plans for product development, release, transfer, and ramp in factories, both domestic and overseas
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required
- Integrate high power RF systems for product development and release, following the company’s Product Development Process
- BSEE degree required, MSEE preferred
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Exposure to RF circuit design and measurement
- Familiarity with in RF power supply theory and principles, such as impedance matching, harmonic suppression, and power efficiency
- Experience with Altium circuit design and layout, MATLAB, AWR simulation and SolidWorks tools
- Familiar with RF power supply testing and measurement techniques and equipment. (Agilent VNAs, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes)
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation
- Team player, able to work with a world-wide workforce
- Driven to achieve goals and meet timelines
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
- Experience with full-lifecycle product development
- Exceptional written, verbal, and organizational skills; ability to clearly and concisely communicate and present information
