Hospital Director of Nursing – Inpatient Services / CNO

A well-established acute care community hospital is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing – Inpatient Services / CNO to provide strategic and operational leadership for nursing services.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead inpatient nursing operations and nursing leadership across multiple service lines, including the Emergency Department, ICU, Medical/Surgical, Behavioral Health, and other clinical areas.
• Drive quality, patient safety, clinical outcomes, and patient experience
• Oversee staffing, retention, engagement, and professional development
• Partner with physicians and hospital leadership on strategic initiatives
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance

Ideal candidate:

• RN with a BSN required; Master's preferred
• Progressive acute care hospital nursing leadership experience
• Proven experience leading nursing leaders and large clinical teams
• Strong operational, strategic, and relationship-building skills
