Tax Manager / Tax Supervisor - Public Accounting

Rare opportunity to work with a highly regarded team with a 25+ year history serving the local region. 

Will consider a Senior Tax Accountant or a Tax Supervisor.
- CPA required
- Must be willing to work onsite but there will be the opportunity to work from home a couple days a week. 

Responsibilities:

• Review Individual (Form 1040), Partnership (Form 1065), Corporate (Form 1120 and 1120S) and Trust (Form 1041) Income Tax Returns
• Research and draft memorandum involving complex tax matters
• Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for clients
• Work with staff to develop tax competencies and align on best practices
• Present on technical topic(s) for staff training

Requirements:

• Seeking experience with individual, partnership, corporate and trust tax returns
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Must be a CPA
• 5+ years tax experience
• Master of Science in Taxation is a plus
• Strong technical skills pertaining to tax preparation and review, tax compliance, agency correspondence and tax research
• Familiarity with UltraTax CS is a plus
