Retail / POS tester - Hybrid - No C2C

Contract-to-hire opportunity - Hybrid work model - 3 days onsite - Northern MA 
 

Overview:

 This role will focus on finding problems with POS software, using both automated and manual testing skills, to accelerate the global rollout of retail stores and OMNI functionality.

tester will be responsible for planning, performing, and reporting on testing.

will work closely with business stakeholders and retail store associates to involve them early in the process and primarily test the integration of vendor-provided software with our systems.
We are looking for someone who is really good at POS testing, can pull from actual retail store experience, and can take over our test automation suite 

Responsibilities:

· Perform testing to identify important problems in POS and other retail store software.

· Collaborate with regional business stakeholders and retail store associates to test early and often.

· Maintain healthy automated regression checks using UFT (VBScript).

skills::

· Previous experience in a retail environment.

· Experience with retail store software testing (POS, Order Management Systems).

· test case design skills.

· Ability to write detailed test plans 

· Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills
 

· Experience with OMNI functionality (BOPIS, BORIS, Endless Isle).

· Experience with the Aptos platform (e.g., Aptos OMS, Merch, EOM, Aptos POS).

· Experience testing vendor-supported software on an Agile team.
