Our Client, a major supplier of critical power conversion technology to a variety of industrial markets including the semiconductor industry, is looking to hire a Quality Manager for it’s High Voltage Division. This individual must be a self-motivated professional who thrives in dynamic environment and embraces a culture that values Customer Focus, Flexibility, Knowledge, Speed, and Integrity. This is a newly created position due to the company's rapid growth in the semiconductor industry.

The Quality Manager will ideally come from the electronics industry with in-depth technical knowledge of electronic manufacturing and design concepts. Our Client is looking for the following attributes:

  • Familiarity with quality principles; including 8D, fish bone, FMEA’s.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in leading a team. Effective leadership to be able to motivate and inspire.
  • Able to collaborate across different functions to accomplish shared objectives.
  • Effective leadership to be able to motivate and inspire.
  • Challenge existing practices to help further develop the organization to achieve operational excellence
  • Experience with top tier Semi-Fab companies either working within or understanding the industry requirements

Position Summary:

Overall, we are looking for an energetic, bright self-motivated candidate who has a passion for Quality who can help lead our company in the next stage of its development within our High Voltage division. The person should be a critical thinker and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the organizations quality and environmental management systems for compliance to ISO recognized standards.
  • Develop and provide leadership of the quality organization to help drive a proactive approach with improvements within design, manufacturing, suppliers and customers.
  • Align the quality objectives with the organization strategy.
  • Drive and promote a culture of quality within the organization.
  • Further develop the HV division for alignment with consistent practices from other company locations.
  • Present and be the main interface on key account quality issues and in still confidence.
  • Quality planning in alignment with the organizational business plan.
  • Expand and improve on existing processes utilizing technology and create robust processes across multiple sites.
  • Collaboration with other departments and utilization of quality tools to help drive RCCA.
  • Identify and further develop KPI’s within the business to help drive towards Operational Excellence.
  • Lead monthly management reviews for the leadership team in helping drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with Operations and Engineering as needed to determine root cause of customer and in-process failures.
  • Further enhance the organization through the use and implementation of various tools such quality plans, process flows.

Key Qualifications and Skills:

  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently and successfully in a team environment.
  • Familiarity with quality principles; including 8D, fish bone, FMEA’s.
  • Local travel required <10%.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering preferred.
  • 10 years of experience in leading a team.
  • Able to collaborate across different functions to accomplish shared objectives.
  • Effective leadership to be able to motivate and inspire.
  • Challenge existing practices to help further develop the organization to achieve operational excellence.
