Our client is building a new operating system that would replace Linux, Kubernetes and the need for many security tools. Sounds audacious, doesn't it?!
Founded by industry veterans who have co-created some of today's leading tech (Postgres, Hadoop and Databricks; just to name a few), this is an opportunity to join the startup at the ground floor and work on a product that has the potential to cause major disruption in multiple areas including operating systems, software security and DBMSs.
We seek a Middleware Engineer to work on a FaaS application server to extend the capabilities of the platform. Tasks include incorporating sagas, extending the system to be multi-node, incorporating a debugger, and extending the replay system.
You will have 3+ years of Java experience, familiarity with SQL applications, and stored procedures. Familiarity with AWS/Lambda a plus.
Salary: commensurate with applicant capabilities, plus stock options
Experience level: Minimum of 3 years post-graduate work experience. Advanced degrees (MS or PhD) in Computer Science highly preferred.
