Our East Coast based client is a highly recognized, privately owned fixture in the Title Insurance industry and is currently seeking a local Business Development Representative to spearhead growth in the New York City area (title zone 2). This role will involve developing and maintaining relationships with attorneys, title agents, and their staff to drive business growth in the designated territory. The ideal candidate should possess exceptional knowledge of the local industry, demonstrate a positive attitude, and have a strong commitment to providing extraordinary service to clients while knocking down doors for new business.

Our client offers an “above industry-average” comp-plan that includes a base salary, a high-percentage commission on new business, work-life flexibility, and an employee first benefits packageCandidates with an existing book of business will also be eligible for a sizeable sign-on bonus.

  • Recruit new attorney title agents and follow up on sales leads.
  • Service existing accounts and help increase their business offering various new services/products.
  • Evaluate and meet agent business needs.
  • Guide new agents through onboarding and help provide guidance and training.
  • Utilize CRM software for reporting and forecasting.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and use marketing/social media to expand company’s presence.
  • Comply with the organization's Code of Ethics and Conduct.

  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
  • Self-motivated with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional customer service skills and a positive attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 3-5 years of sales experience in the New York Real Estate Industry (with Title Insurance Industry knowledge as a strong plus.)
  • Business or marketing degree preferred.
