Senior Accountant (to $70K & 10% bonus) Southside RVA

25+ year-old, $300M (and growing), privately held company that’s already a world-wide leader within their manufacturing/distribution vertical is seeking a Senior Accountant.

Compensation:
Base salary up to $70K, 10% bonus, outstanding benefits

Senior Accountant Requirements:
-Accounting Degree
-3+ years of accounting experience
-1 or more years in public accounting
-CPA preferred

Senior Accountant Duties:
-Journal Entries
-Reconciliations
-Financial Analysis (budget to actual, forecasting)
-Process improvement (shorten days to close)
-Internal controls improvement
-Financial reporting
-Track and implement new accounting policy/standards
-Liaise with external recruiters
-Other duties as assigned
