Business Development Associate – Part-time Remote Opportunity

Purpose:

Reporting to the Director of Business Development, you will create leads and identify opportunities in the U.S. to enable senior team members in the Boston and London studios to follow up and establish relationships. You will work across a number of sub sectors within the Healthcare Sector and promote our Client’s capabilities in Human Sciences, Design and Technical leadership.

Responsibilities:

Sales

• Drive sales activities and develop new business opportunities for the Boston studio

• Planning and research of target markets and accounts in line with the Sales plan

• Understand potential client organizations, their issues and buying points

• Manage customer engagement using various channels; email, phone calls, events, targeted campaigns etc.) to secure introductions and meetings

• Coordinate targeted networking opportunities

• Manage and maintain contacts database and share insights gained

• Support the follow up of leads, build rapport, and ensure continuous engagement with clients

Marketing

• Collaborate on marketing activities (campaigns, exhibitions, PR etc.) with the Marketing team

Requirements:

 • 5+ years of experience working in a product, digital or marketing agency, or other professional services company

• Track record of generating qualified leads and contribute directly to revenue growth

• Experience within creating B2B multi-channel marketing campaigns

• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate

• A sound business and commercial understanding as well as being risk aware
